I am trawling through the internet as I have a QT6000 and am interested in setting up the time and attendance facility. I have the CV31 software but this facility is shaded out on the menu. I am at a loss...any chance someone would be able to give me a few tips other than buy the "new PC model" my casio dealer suggested?

Time and attendance is not in the CV31. You will have to set it up in PGM 3, (1. Machine Features), (15. Time and attendance.)

Here is the doc file. http://casiohelp.com/TA/QT6KTIMEnATTENDANCE.doc

Thank you for this. When I go into the menu, I have programmed it for just one clerk to try it out. I have also assigned the Clock In/Out button to the main menu. However, when I click on the clerks name to login and press Clock in/Out, I get an "operator error" message. I have looked through the manuels but I am still unable to get this feature working. Help?!

Use the clerk number. Clerk 1 is 1 clock-in. If you have secret number than use the secret number then clock-in. Not the clerk screen buttons.

Many thanks for this. I used your advice and managed to get it working!!! The only issue I have at the moment is that I only have room for 10 employees? Is it possible to increase it?

Yes, but anytime you change the memory allocation of a file you erase everything in that file. So you need to do a backup to a CF Card or have it in a CV31 program. Or just be willing to re-enter it.

Memory allocation is done in PGM5. (1) Memory Alloc (1) Daily & PGM then scroll down to Employees
