I have been told that these are not proper point of sale terminals and they rely a lot on back office which is why I never had anything to do with them. I'm afraid you may have to spend thousands to get the software to program them. Best idea is to dump the terminals back into an auction and find some machines that can operate as true stand alone or networked machines

as NZtech has pointed out, best to dump these units, a Uniwell DX915 or the new AX series terminals are true stand alone systems with the ability to network, do back office etc.
Software is not expensive if you want to do your reporting.

Hi Jace,

Might be a bit too late, but do still have you Quest Versaterm? I have a couple and they are very robust - but as NZtech mentioned they fully rely on the Back of house software (I use Task Manager). They are pretty much a nice user Interface with some extras (Memory and connectivity).

If you haven't sold the unit I'll be pretty interested - (Send me a PM if it sounds good).

Cheers.
