OK - i've taken the S key off another uniwell till we have and this works, so I can now at least turn the key to SP.

I have the standard engineering soft key but it does not work at SP. Anyone any ideas ?

Ayone any ideas how I can re-set this ?

The engineers code which you say you have is the same for all the high end Uniwell tills. As long as the key is in SP this should work.

The famous Ali, he left last year before there collapse. They were all working part time for about a year. The Uniwell brand was taken on by Geller. A couple of the staff have been kept on but the office is in London.

Thanks folks,
The key was not 25******18.
The key had been reset and an even higher level key was needed.
Friendly dealer supplied.
Now it has been re-set to 25********18.
Thanks

John

There is no such thing as a higher engineers code!

If your talking about the code that works in blind, this is completely different to the engineers code. This code is needed when clearing the flash or performing an emergency ram clear etc.
