Can anyone please give me some advise please? I have just taken over as Chairperson of a local club and with the till is 4 keys. Can anyone explain what each key is used for for certain readings. Appartently as the till is not that old i should be able to print a report of all sales since till was installed, don't know if this is true though.
Thanks for any help

Hi.
The different keys allow you to access certain modes. The owner key (OW) will access all of them down to the operator key (OP) that allows only operation (no reports or programming).
What I recommend you do is turn the key to REG mode when using the machine each day and remove the keys from the machine (they can be removed in off and REG modes). Then no one can turn the key to the wrong mode. At the end of each day when you take reorts, just put the OW key in and turn to Z mode, then press CASH. This will print the daily report.

If your machine has been setup for periodic reports, you can turn to Z2 mode and press 1 then CASH. That report can be used for weekly, monthly or any other period. Both totals will keep on increasing until they are reset again, so if no one has taken reports, then there will be large totals in it at the moment.

Hope this helps,
Mark

Any key that will turn to Z or Z2 positions can allow reports.
If the report is coming out the way you want it, then it has been programmed correctly.
You can do many reports on cash registers, so if you need others then they are just called up by codes. I can find any you need.

Don't forget Karen, the best way to keep track of theft is the journal roll. All transactions are printed on the journal as the machine is used, so you can unwind the paper on the black reel inside the printer and see every sale on there.

Here are the common reports. I'll get you to print all of them to see which ones suit you.

Turn key to Z1.
11 CASH (wait for report)
12 CASH (wait for report)
and so on up to 19 CASH

The title and code number of the report will be at the top of the printout. Choose which reports are best, and just use those numbers next time.
