Hi. On the Sharps, you must press CLEAR after you remove the paper jam. I've never heard of it going away with a reset if there was still an issue with the printer. Casios clear their paper error message as sson as you clear the jam and close the paper holder again. I have had the TE-4000 series give the problem of not clearing the message though. Happened the other day. Did a half reset and it worked again. Apart from that, the message usually indicates a printer fault that might return.
