Hi there - following on from a previous question I asked about issuing draw tickets via the SPS2000 (printing-tickets-using-sps2000-and-ellix-20xx-printer-t2585.html )

I have setup the PLU's and assigned them to a seperate PLU Group for easier reporting. I need to know how I then setup the PLU to be "Single Item" and either issue 1 or 2 receipts (still to be decided) fr each ticket.

The idea behind this is that the customer would ask for say 2 draw tickets ( number 1 and number 2). Upon pressing the relevant PLU it would automatically print out a receipt for each number/ticket individually and only allow for 1 PLU to be seleted at a time. Therefore printing 2 seperate receipts.

Is this possible?

Thanks in advance
Ronnie

Think I may have just found the solution to my issue. I think it might be the option within the PLU STATUS GROUP programming option. There's an option for "Is PLU Single Item?" listed and its set to NO by default.

Can anyone confirm this is the option I should be changing. Also What about the number of receipts being printed off. Where can I set this as 1 or more.

Thanks
Ronnie

hi - yes you are correct
and in terms of the receipots, look under print options and set "allow multiple receipts" - don't think you can specifically ask for 2 reciepts for certain items, you would just press the receipt issue button the correct number of times.

You would need a machine with an eprom programmed for dry cleaner use for that function - im sure there is no such eprom for a 2000

dry cleaners automatically print out the correct number of ticketd depending on the item
eg 2 for a shirt [1 for customer 1 for shirt]
4 for a suit [1 for customer, 1 for trousers 1 for waitcoat & 1 for jacket etc]

I have never seen this machine in a dry cleaners so i'm afraid my knowledge is a bit limited.
good luck with it
