make sure all operators have completed theeir transactions and that no tables are open.
failing this, you could adjust the register's options to allow z reading with open clerks and tables.

many apologies, previous reply was an assumption based on other models, this option does not appear to be availkable for this model.
you could however run an open check/table report to ensure there are none open.

in x mode, do a no.8 report and then close any cheks reported open [it is possible to have checks open with a zero balance - this catches people out regularly]

does it have a list of open check numbers on the report? or does it just say check then nothing? if its blank means none left open..

an open check is usually used for tables. ie cafe, restaurant tabs etc.. do u you use these?

Have you tried doing an flag reset? wont lose any programming or sales.. will get til out of sticky moments..

switch till off at the side. mains socket..

turn key to pgm and hold down cash button...
holding down cash, switch machine back on.. it should then print an initial clear receipt.
if machine doesnt clear try again holding down subtotal..

then try samstock again.
