Can anyone tell me why I cannot setup the register date or time - following the manuak but does not do anything when I put the date or time in and then press the # button????

Can you list the exact procedure and keys you are pressing, hopefully we'll be able to see from that where you are going wrong.

Hi We are doing as stated in the manual once initialised we have programed the language and then tried to put todays date in -11052008 and then presseed # but nothing happens it just stays with the date and no change the same when we try to do the time. Thanks

Thats really strange as it appears you are doing everything correctly, just to confirm though are you doing it with the key in the PGM position?
Also where exactly is the # key you are pressing, ie is it on the first row and the 4th key down?

Yes the key is in the pgrm position full anti clockwise position and the # key is 2nd row 8 along (above the 3 on the qwerty board)

Hi,

Thats where you are going wrong

That # key is for description programming when using the qwerty keyboard. The # key you need is marked on the keyboard layout on page 6 of the manual. It's on the first row, 4th key down.

Give it a try using that key and please do let me know if you get sorted.

Great things are looking up have date time and now sorting
plu's - question, if we do reciepts with a sale can we later print out till history with what has been thru till or does it just give you the amounts put thru till - sorry v. new to this business and the manageress has gone off sick. many thanks

Hi,

Yes it's page 83 of the manual and is called EJ Reports. There are a couple of codes you would need:

To Print All Journal - 700, X, TL/NS
To Reset Journal - 700, ., X, TL/NS

Hope this helps, you may have to play around with it a little as i've never actually seen it working.

thanks again. one last thing I am trying to use the GLU function but nothing seems to be happening, i am the number 1 then GLU and then a plu but keep getting INH. OPEN PR what am i doing wrong. final thing honest
