This is my first post which i hope someone can give me a solution or point me in the right direction.
I have a sharp er-a420 which i need to set up to be used for a public house. I have managed to set up all the required departments eg. lager,bitter,spirits,bottled and mixers and also the products and allocated them to these departments. The PLU keyboard template contains pints & half pints and this is where my problem lies. After printing out some Z1 reports to make sure everything was working ok i noticed that the quantities i had keyed in did not match the total quantity on the reports. The reason being is that it is treating the half pint PLU as 1.00 qty instead of 0.50 qty. The whole point of this is to maintain accurate stock records and investigate any queries.
How do i program the register to record only 0.50 qty everytime sales for half pint PLU's are made?
