This done the trick,
it now reads 00050 /00050

which I assume means that I now have 50 depts.

I have tried your other prompts (2116 & 2110) and they now work perfectly.

Thank you so much for your help.
Hopefully the rest of the programming will be a little easier.

Is creating a cashier & PLU just as hard or should that go a little smoother now.

Yes, that increased it to the maximum of 50 depts.

Not sure if you will receive any other errors as depends what files are setup in the memory allocation, but there are usually 200 plus and 4 cashiers when it is factory reset.

Creating PLUs is done by

CREATING/DEPT LINK: 1200 . x PLUCODE x DEPTCODE ST TL

PRICE: 1210 . x PLUCODE x PRICE ST TL

MAKE PLU PRESET PRICE: 2210 . x PLUCODE x 002 ST TL

DESCRIPTION: 2214 . x PLUCODE x CHARS ST TL
