Hi
I have inherited a sharp er-a470 and it appears to have been completely reset. I have the normal programming manual but I am getting nowhere fast. I have searched the net and there are references to a easy programming manual to get it set up but I cannot find it anywhere.
I have set the time/date/tax rate. But when I go to the programming for departments bit and I enter a dept no it just beeps and says No Record, no matter what number I type in.

Any help at all would be great
Thanks

Try this first:

In pgm2: 2110 . X 1 X 0000001 ST TL

and then try programming dept 1 again.

Have you got a key that will turn one position past pgm2?

Regards

Ok in that mode if you enter

970 X TL

that will produce a readout, and if you can tell me what is in the columns to the right of *001*

It reads

00018 /00000

does this mean anything to you?

It means you can have a maximum of 18 depts but none are used, so just trying to remember how to create the department.

See if this one works.

PGM2
2116 . x 1 x 1 ST TL

lol, ok try this

in SRV mode

971 . x 1 x TL

then

971 . x 1 x 50 TL

then if you can run

970 X TL and see if *001* has changed
