Hi all.

I have taken over a bar and have 4 x SX 700

All of these are reset to default settings... and are blank.

I need to set all these up... and hopefully manage in a much easier way
They are all blank...and I need to program them with a set of fixed prices on PLU assigned buttons.

I am in desperate need.

These tills all have the ethernet points as well as the other RJ45 port on the rear..so is there a Application I could use to program these tills from a PC? manage them? update from PC? get sales and transaction information?

I have never programmed a till before.. and this is pure foreign to me.. but I am willing to do anything and follow any distructions to get me fully able to manage these tills.

Can anyone please help?

Hi,
you can use a progral called plm 2000. to set these tilles up,
you will only need to set one up, then use a rj 45 cable to connect each till together then download one to the other, takes about 4 minutes each to transpher across,
you will need engineers code as well this will be a 8 digit code left with the tilles,

you can also use a program called back office,

you will need a template for the keyboard layout, to mark you keys, there are 2 keyboard layouts called f1 and f0, one is programable and the other is not, there are a few entrys by others how to set up the tiles on the site,
I will tell you it is not easy,
if you have a uniwell dealer near you they will charge approx £50.00 per till to set up, each till has to be numbered 1234, , so 4 tills £200.00,

i can point you in the right direct if you need any other help.
i use the same till sx 700,
But i only use 3 link together, with 1 printer for all.
