TK-1300 Error Code E06 Help

Hi Guys ... I tried to use the till yesterday and unfortunately I received an error message stating E06.

I have a user manual but unfortunately it doesn't really help as I was not the person using the till last and the staff member who did doesn't feel they did anything odd. Error Code E06 states, "Clerk button pressed before Finalisation of Registration Being Performed Under Another Clerk Button ...Press the Original Clerk Button and Finalise the Registration Before Pressing another Clerk Button."

Cab anyone enlighten me and or provide me with a "Master Reset" of some sort?

It means what it says. Sign in with the original clerk, finish what they were doing, then you'll be fine.

Unfortunately S1mon it was another staff member and they tell me they ended they day as normal and did a Z reading as normal. Now I'm in limbo and can't work out what hasn't been done and or even on what clerk.

Try checking all the clerks.

Yup ... tried that ... every single one gives me the E06 error

I would like to presume there is some sort of master reset ... I’d be happy to set the till up from scratch again ...

Same error here, S1mon. Signing in with the original clerk didn't seem to do anything. I feel like I'm missing something important.

there are many clerk numbers - you need to find the one that logged on - you may think that they are clear but if they rang something in then just pressed the error correct button, there would be a zero balance - but the transaction would not be closed - try signing on with each clerk and press cash total each time.
