Hi, I've borrowed a working cable and TMT88 from a working TX870/TMT88 setup and connected them to a TX850 v1.11 Uniwell terminal. I've done a 9999 [initialise all data] on the TX850,thinking that the default settings might just drive the printer. But ALAS no joy,[whats new]. I've managed to get the printer to respond using one of the RS232 ports, but unfortunately the information on the receipt looks all skewed. All the receipt details are there, but it seems as if the printer doesn't know, whereabouts on the paper to begin printing. Is there a baud rate issue? if so can it be sorted? or is this terminal or this version not going to talk to this printer no matter what I do? Any help would be appreciated. BEWILDERED.

Also Flag 90 bit A=Yes if your plugging the cable into channel B.
