Hi,

I run a pub in Cheshire and have two Uniwell SX-700 tills that are linked to each other and to a software package upstairs (it's called Total Control). Four days ago, if I started a tab for a particular table on Till 1 and then stored it, I could go to Till 2 and access that specific table. Also, if I was logged onto Till 1 and tried to log on to Till 2 simultaneously, there would be an error message. As of three days ago, neither of these are now happening - I can be logged on to both tills simultaneously and if I set up a table 9 for example on Till 1, it can't be called up on Till 2. What's quite weird is that when I run the end of day report (from Till 1), the printout shows data from both tills. So they are communicating but they aren't - if you see what I mean.

I don't have a manual for the tills but I do have an engineer code.

Does anyone have any idea how I can restore the status quo as of 4 days ago?

Many thanks for your time

Tim

try

key to SP
log on using engineers code
select irc program functions
type 8800
enter
enter again
till should count to 32 then print out a bit of paper listing all your tills
that should sort it
