Can any of you wizards give me a point in the right direction about taking everything back to the factory settings - at the moment every thing seems to work but its full of someone else`s.

1 have 2 tills
1 printer

and a 4 digit code that seems to get me in to the menu - here i can change a lot of stuff

a downloadable service manual would be great!

donation waiting

Cheers

Hi hulkster,

Are you sure you want to fully reset it back to default as there is a lot of programming to be done just to get it working again, let alone programming all the products etc that you require?

Either way It's easy enough once you get into it.

I've sent you some info in a private message.

Cheers

Will it be easier to write over existing information on till? - i have just downloaded a manual but there is no detail of a factory reset - i am starting a sandwich shop and dont need a lot of the tills features just as simple as possible. also does any one know what i need to connect 2 till and a printer as it looks as if some cabling is missing - all there is is and ethernet to rs connection on the printer and the same type on one till - i need to know what i need to make both tills talk to each other.

thanks in advance

Hi, Guys!

Just got a second-hand TX875, which I'll be running with one printer for now, and possibly a second later.

It has no operating manual....and I open a new pub on Monday! !what

Where can I get some very quick info on setting up, and inputting products and prices over the weekend?

Donation awaits...

Cheers in advance,

Andy.

Cannot find a user manual for the TX-875 but here is one for the TX-870 that may help

http://www.uniwell.co.uk/images/picture ... -06-v1.pdf

If you need help with specific things then ask a question for help.

I have a very similar problem to the OP.

I have a second hand TX875 which is already programmed with some products. None of which are suitable for my sandwich bar.

I have NO IDEA where to start in order to clear off the old products, cashiers etc, and get this till ready for use.

If anyone can help I'll be more than grateful.
