Hi,

To Open a New Table:
1. Press [Table] - its at the top left of screen.
2. Now enter in the table number.
3. Press the [Create] button.
4. The till might ask if you want to create it, just accept.
5. You will now see the table number at the top left.
6. You can now enter sales and cash the table off or....
7. Press [New Balance] which will store the table - you may have to program this button onto the screen though.

To Open an Existing Table:
1. Press [Table] - its at the top left of screen.
2. Now enter in the table number.
3. Press [Enter].
4. This will now open up the stored table and display any sales stored against it.
5. You can now cash the table off or.....
6. Enter more sales and then press [New Balance].

You can also have multible bills per table (if setup). You can transfer tables from one to another. You can split tables by quantity or item.

If you do start using tables, you should take an X-81 report (or X-8881) before you cash up - This will tell you if you have any open tables that have not been cashed off. These tables can then be recalled and removed.

Hi,

The "New Balance" button should be in:-
1. SP-850.
2. Go into Function buttons. - It's top of the list.
3. This opens a large list of available funtions buttons (ie, "Enter", "Clear" etc) - The "New Balance" button is in this list but it's called "N.B./Storage".
4. Highlight the "New Balance" button then press where you want the button to be. - Be very careful you dont press any other button, like the "Clear" button or you'll overwrite it.
5. When you've assigned the button press the "Clear" at the top of the screen - This will bring you back out.

If you need any more help let me know and I'll list a proper step by step.

EDIT: I have made an edit to No:3. The button is called N.B./Storage, as I've now mentioned.
