Can anyone tell me how to program direct keys on the up 700, I can only get 20 working after that I keep getting entry error.

You need to create the PLU`s first before you can assign them to a direct key

I created PLU's but it still only allows me to create 20 plu's. Its driving me crazy could I get simple instruction on how to create more plu's. I've listed below what I have done so far.


1) Did Master 2 Reset to bring back to default

2) In service mode - settings - file - Intial Key - Create
settings - file - Plu - Create
settings - file - Plu Range - 500 - Create
settings - file - Departments - 20 - Create
settings - file - Departments TEXT - 16 - Create
settings - file - PLU TEXT - 16 - Create

3) When I try to add info for PLU it only lets me do 20 of them, Instead of 500 I created
When I try to add info for Departments it only lets me do 10 of them, Instead of 20 I created.

All you need to do to add more PLU's is type in the PLU number you want when you are in the PLU programming part. For example for PLU 21, type 21 then enter then you will be able to enter your details. Carry on doing this until you've entered them all. The direct keys for the PLU's are already defined on the keyboard so you don't need to allocate them. The same input method also applies for the departments.
