I am looking for some help programming discount offers in to my UP-700 till e.g. -

We sell different kinds of posters and I would like to set it up so that when any 4 posters are selected a discount is automatically applied. Have had a look through the manual but its way over my head! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First thing I need to ask is, do you know if the necessary files were created for mix & match (promotion) tables when you got the 700? Quickest way to check is to go to Pgm2 mode, Settings, down to Promotion Table. Enter on that, then do 1 Enter. If it then gives you another screen, then the files are there. However, if it beeps at you, you'll need to try and get a service key.

I don't know if the files were created when we first got the till. When I go in to Pgm2 then Settings there is no Promotion Table option that I can see.
Do you think I'll have to get a service key?

Need to ask this. Is this a UK spec 700?

I've been caught out trying to help someone with an american spec 700 before and wondered why nothing I was saying was working! This one is my fault though, I missed a step. The promotion table programming is in: Pgm2 mode, 02 Setting, 01 Article, 10 Promotion Table.
If it doesn't let you program a promotion table, then you will need a service key.

Ok I found it and when I hit enter it beeped so I guess I'll need a service key.

Once you get a key it's simple enough to set up. You just need to create some files.

Any idea where I could get a SRV key?! The only supplier I can find online doesn't ship to the UK.
