I have a friend with a Sharp UP-700 who is unable to zero the till.

I have tried myself following the manual. There comes a point where the manual says enter all, but I am unable to fathom what to enter. The only number it seems to allow me to type in is clerk number and then I get an error message.

I have re-programmed other makes of till, but this one is driving us mad. :? Please could you help?

Kindest regards
Jo

Sounds like your till maybe setup as a "Master Till" and you are trying to do a System X or Z.
(when it gets to the point Enter all - just press enter)

If no joy try doing a No 2 Resetting in X1/Z1 Mode.

There are numerous service settings that may stop you from doing an individual reset.

You may need a Service Key to allow you to change it from a master to a standalone machine (i am assuming you only have the one machine)
