Hi All,

Im new and joined due to the general helpfulness of all memebers!

I have big problems!

I have been donated a geller e6800 v. similar to the 6600. I work for a vouluntary youth organisation with limited funds and am using the register to run our tuck shop.

I have looked at it and it seems that some sort of reset has been done to it! (ram clear some guy said).

I have tried to start programming it using help from another of your threads, however, the code for cash for example is 2a or 2c anyway when i press the a it beeps at me. I am in p2 i have selected key layout, identified my button, input code but the alphabet wont select !

Am i doing something wrong or is the 6800 different.

This would be great for the kids if i could get it sorted so any help would be fantastic! :)

Thanks in advance

Dan

The code for cash button is 11. Why not leave it in default position. If the machine has been ram-cleared that is where you will find it
