i just got the UX-43 Cash register and from what i see it uses PLU,s. what i need is groups that i can enter the price and link to a group. im opening up a Greenhouse and theres different prices for different items but i want to link each item to a group. example is i want a group for plants, annuals, perenniels and so on. then i want to enter a price and link to that group. is it possible to do that with this till or do i need a differnt system? thankyou for your help.

You can just put an open priced PLU on the keyboard, then link any number of them to a Group

I think on the UX43 you have to set the HALO (High Amount Lock Out) for the PLU and then you can simply enter a price into the PLU, you can then get a report on individual items which are effectively Groups using the 40 report.

i tried what you said with the PLUs but when trying to program i belive they Need a Scanner and we dont have a scanner. now there is a lot# button. what how am i able to set that up?

They shouldn't need a scanner - just assign them to a Group (just set Group to 1) and set the HALO and they should work
