Hi!

I have a UX-45F and in the display it's blinking 2 arrows down. It's blinking "2ND PRICE" and "STORE" and I don't know if the blinking arrows are related to those.

Can anybody tell me what this means? The machine works as always.
Thank you in advance!

When the optional ESF memory is near full the 2nd PRICE and STORE lamps will flash.

The ESF memory near full condition can be cleared by issuing Z-79 report.

When ESF memory becomes full, the data first stored, i.e. data at the starting of ESF memory area, will be
deleted from ESF memory and the 2nd PRICE and STORE lamps will flash continuously

Or off the top of my head do you have too many tables or clerks with open ballances? It could come down to the number of items un-finalised that are open on the till.

Try taking an X-62 report to see how many tabs/clerks/tables are open with what values.

Then start clearing them off.

What is ESF memory and what it deletes if I clear the memory? I have just started to use this machine and nobody at the office knows what to do...

The ESF memory is the Electronic Journal. This records all of the keypresses on the till. very similar to the old twin printer tills (one for receipt, one for journal). Clearing the memory and any open clerks / tracks / bills will resolve the arrows blinking on the till.
