I have a UX 7000 which I'm struggling to setup so I can keep tabs running on it.

Currently if I setup a table and put a series of items on there it does an auto bill when it's added to the table.
What I'd like to do is set it up so I can keep a tab running all evening for a table and then finish it up at the end of the eveing.

I did try changing the AUTO ASSIGN BILL flag but with no joy. Can you give me some guidance on which way I should try to do this, with bills or tables?

There is not much difference between Bills and Tables. Bills will print out the bottom 3 lines of the receipt on a subtotal bill where as Tables wont.

Two main flags to look at.

Flag 7 - Compulsions.

Flag 37- Bills. I would just have H and B set to YES.

If you have more than 1 till then flag 45 bits H and E must be a YES.
