Hi,

Key to SP
Log on as the Engineer
Scroll Down to 155 - Tax Rates and press ENTER
Press ENTER on the old Tax Rate (1750)
Key in the new Tax Rate in the same format (1500 - no need to press the decimal point)
Press ENTER to accept
Press CL twice
Press Clerk I.D. to finish
Turn the key back to R

Hi thank you very much for your reply but unfortunatley the Vat has stayed the same when i have followed the instructions. I have a picture of how it lookes after.

Hi,

You have successfully changed the Tax Rate to 15%, the problem you have is that the description of that Tax is wrong. If you go into 130 - Key Symbol Names and scroll down the list you will see one called 'Vat @ 17.5' if you press ENTER on it you will be able to key in your own description. I suggest something like 'Std Vat' would be more appropriate because then you won't have to change it back in 13 months time. It's up to you though, just key in your own preference.

Yes youve cracked it once more. Thank you very much i was scratching my head wondering why the receipt kept on showing Vat@17.5% If i had used the calculator it would have been obviouse.
