Hi, I've just bought a 2nd hand TE-4500F to use in our village multi-use (tennis, cricket, bowls, football) sports bar. I would like to program it so that we can have multiple clerks using it, but equally important we would like to record the split between each club (tennis, cricket, football, etc). Not knowing much out epos i thought the Department key might do what I wanted, but now realise it won't, as I want to be able to use multiple PLUs and record the transaction against one of my "clubs". After downloading the user & dealer manuals I've seen "Group" mentioned (on Journal report) which looks like it might do what I want (it gives percentage splits between some different groups in their example), but cant see anyway for me to apportion PLU sales to a Group. In fact I can't find anything out about groups in the manuals.
Can anyone tell me if using Groups is the best way to achieve what I want? If, so how do I find out about them?
In summary, I would like a Clerk to log-on, use PLUs to build a sale, and then that total sale be recorded against a "Club" (group?) for auditing purposes.
Thanks in advance. Kit.
