Hi All,

I posted something a few days ago, as I am new to this site and my topic seems to hold no answers, even though others afterwards have been answered.

I have purchased a Uniwell DX915 (Next Model from 875 I think). Now I got cash drawer and printer.

When I turn it on it asks me to touch 2 positions to calibrate and then says IR Done Setup Required.

I bought this from a finance company that had repossesed it. It came with no manuals and also no codes and there is no way of getting them.

I have downloaded the manual from uniwell site, but cant get and menus up till I have some sort of default access code.

Can anyone help!

Thankyou - I am willing to make a donation if I am helped.

Kevin

What makes you say that?

Sorry if I come across wrong. Just thought for some reason I was getting ignored.

Can anyone help please. I am willing to pay for the time?

Cheers

Kevin,

Setup Required is the worst possible state to receive a Uniwell Cash Register in, it basically means it has absolutely no program / settingsin it at all and needs to be fully setup from scratch. This is a long, time consuming job even to get it in a state where you can begin to program it. It's not really something that can be done via a forum.
If you can have the machine in front of you one night I can set some time aside to get you started through the initial setup, then point you in the right direction towards the actual programming.

Does that sound ok?

If so let me know when you are available.

Cheers

Cheers for that.

I will let you know when I am back at work cause the epos is there, or I will bring it home one night.

Is there a programming manual that you have that I could get?

Also norhing seems to work, but I suppose that is becuase a total setup is required.

Is there a engineer code that will get me to a menu just to see something different.

Could the battery be dead as it asks to calibrate everytime or will this go away when programmed?

Cheers

Kevin
