xe-a102 PLU set up

Looked through the whole of the forum and found no answer to my problem so here goes. Got a brand new xe-a102, seems I've programmed everything else OK except the PLU's, I've tried every combination of command but they resolutely remain at 0.00

I've tried with the key in REG and Z/PGM,
Typed the code, pressed PLU, price, dept and #/st in various orders and it still stays at 0.00 will someone please tell me what's wrong before I through it at the wall !excited

Don't worry chaps and chappesses, I don't know what cured it but suddenly they started entering as easy as it quotes in the manual.
