Hi,

My name's Darren and I currently have a client who uses a XE-A202.

I'm his accountant and require a record of all the transactions for the past 3 years.

Is there a way to access the entire record. I've read the manual and have a general idea.

Also the client has told me that he has deleted some of the earlier periods. Is there a way to retrieve those?

Read the electronic journal. It will tell you everything the machine has done. It is not set by date. Instead it has a memory of a few thousand transactions, so once it stops printing, that is the end of the memory. If the customer has already reset this, then you are probably out of luck.

To read the journal:

Firstly, place a NEW roll of paper in the machine (it may use a lot of paper and you don't want it running out in the middle of a read)

Turn key to X1/Z1 mode
