Hi there,

I have gotten a new till and am currently in the process of setting it up. I am wondering if it is possible to limit the number of digits you enter for a sale? For example i dont want staff to be able to enter more than £999.99.

I can currently do this on my old till. Im not sure if this is possible to do on this new one.

Any help is appriciated.

THE SHORT ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION IS YES IT CAN

TROUBLE IS, I DONT HAVE A 203 MANUAL. THE 201 AND 303 MANUALS ARE WILDLY DIFFERENT SO IT WOULD BE UNFAIR OF ME TO GUESS. LOOK IN YOUR MANUAL FOR "DEPARTMENT STATUS PROGRAMMING"

Hi Butch,

If you refer to page 20 of the manual you will see you can specify a digit limit.

Assuming you are using 2 decimal places for currency, then setting the digit limit to 5 will mean a maximum entry of 999.99

This is part of "6. Department Programming" in the Quick Start Guide section of the Instruction Manual.

Good luck!
